Fantasy for Flute and Violin
Written for one of the annual Summer Solstice concerts at Plantation United Methodist Church in Florida, this four-movement fantasy for flute and violin depicts scenes from Florida’s Everglades
Writing for two treble instruments alone presented some intriguing compositional challenges.
The work was premiered by flautist Christine Nield, pictured here with pianist Michael Scherperel and bassist Mik Groniger, and violinist Mei-Mei Luo.
